Biography for Anita Arnold

Anita is Managing Director of the company’s Houston office where she is responsible for all Houston operations. Anita has 20 years of experience in the legal staffing industry. She attributes her success in legal placement to listening to clients and candidates and assessing their needs. She approaches each placement with a great attention to detail. In addition to managing recruiters and support staff, she has overseen more than 500 document review projects nationwide – with staffs ranging from five to 80 in multiple city locations.

Anita joined Gibson Arnold as a recruiter in 1989. Within a year, she was named Vice President of Operations and is the “Arnold” in Gibson Arnold. In 1993, she left to run her own company for ten years. Anita maintained solid relationships with her colleagues at Gibson Arnold and rejoined the company in 2004.

Anita holds a Juris Doctorate degree from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia, where she pursued a special interest in labor and employment law. She earned an undergraduate degree majoring in History and Political Science from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Gibson Arnold is an active member or sponsor of a wide range of legal recruitment and document review organizations, in which Anita participates. These include NAPS (the National Association of Placement Professionals) and the national and local (Denver, Houston and Los Angeles) chapters of organizations for lawyers, paralegals, support staff, administrators, litigation support and electronic discovery.

Outside the office, Anita enjoys traveling, concerts, and professional football.
